Since AO3 went down like the Hindenburg and did not come back until well after my modly bed time, sign-ups have been re-opened, and, to allow for people to get all their ducks in a row, they will remain open until 5 PM (PDT) tonight. After that, barring any further Three Stooges-style disasters, matching should proceed roughly as originally planned. Sorry about that, folks!

Okay! The matching thing-a-ma-jig is currently running, so sign-ups are closed for real. We're still aiming for September 5 as the day for sending out assignments, but don't be too surprised if it ends up being a little later than that due to the AO3 blackout yesterday. That being said, if pinch hits are needed, we'll put up the first batch roughly as soon as matching is done, so keep an eye out for those once assignments are ready to go.
