Just want to make sure I'm clear here on canon scope/shared universe issues: miniseries is the TV show, yes? And by historically entrenched, you mean book Aziraphale/Crowley (that then obviously spilled over into what TV show fans like to ship, too), yes? When you say the miniseries has a canon branch, are you talking about a different branch of canon ie. tie in media or similar, or more what one of the other commenters said about how the TV canon has a different layer of interpretation because of the visual language?
