So, four days left on sign ups, and all is well. 92 people signed up, last I looked, and 59 people in the pinch hit group. All y'all rock!

You know what my favourite part of sign ups is? The sign up summary page. I just really like numbers, okay! I like watching the fandoms creep up and down, and seeing who has the most requests and offers (What do we want? Marvel Femslash! When do we want it? NOW! Also, Teen Wolf).

Now it looks to me like there's a bunch of fandoms who either have no offers, or have a 1:1 ratio of offers and request, which often, but not always, means that the same person is asking for and offering that fandom, which is no help to matching whatsoever. If you have an extra fandom spot, and you see a fandom you're comfortable writing, maybe consider offering one or more or the needy fandoms.

Don't forget that you can link to your Dear Author Letter over at this spreedsheet, which will make it easier for everyone to find. I love reading letters almost as much as I love the sign up summary thing, and seeing a cool request in a fandom I like sometimes gives me ideas for extra things to offer. A cool letter is how I ended up rewatching most of Star Trek: TNG and writing Tasha Yar & Deanna Troi fic for

rarewomen this year.

If anyone wants a quick gimme fandom, why not try Notes From the Garden of Lilies? It's only two volumes, so it's a pretty fast and fun read.

What's it about? What do you like about it?

First, you have this girl named Kurashiki Yuri who's a bit of an outcast. She draws manga with her only friend, but she keeps it a secret from her classmates. One day, sheltered rich girl Fujiwara Misono finds some of Yuri's manga, and Yuri finds out that under her nice girl exterior, Misono has quite the mischievous streak. It's an opposites attract kind of pairing, which I really love, and I also liked the amount of development between Yuri and Misono that the author managed to put in only two volumes.
