Tenar and Penthe had such lovely chemistry and intriguingly different approaches to life. Did they have another stolen moment at the Tombs? Did they run away together, or meet up years later?
Yarrow and Penthe come from very different worlds, but they're both such earthy, grounded characters, living in a world of more powerful/seemingly important people but having their own lives and priorities. I think they'd have a lot in common and would get along well. Maybe Penthe did run, and ran a very, very long way...

I would love a story in which Bellis has an encounter with an Anophelii woman, whether one of the ones on the island or in an AU in which the Malarial Queendom still rules. If the latter, maybe the well-fed women have their own language which Bellis has learned; if the former, maybe they find some way to communicate (could be just physically). If the women can't speak, can they read? Maybe one is the surprise recipient of Bellis's letter. Go as dark/decadent/horrifying/surprisingly hopeful as you like.

I do not want a fix-it story for this canon. I know Delphine's death angered a lot of people, but I loved the film and felt that given the genre the death of the love interest was pretty much inevitable. Lorraine was affected by it in a way that she wasn't affected by anything else in the film (I think there's a good argument to be made that she was sleeping with Gasciogne for work reasons, but she was with Delphine because she actually wanted to be); she was honest with Delphine in a way she wasn’t at any other time. I don’t want a fic that erases any of that.
I'd also love to read about Lorraine as a queer woman in a man's game running heterosexual honeytraps. It would be great to see more of her thought processes about Delphine - why does she choose to sleep with her, how does it become more (if it does - though I think it does, I'd love to see other takes on it, as long as they don’t completely erase Lorraine's queerness)? What sort of non-professional sexual history does Lorraine have pre-film, and how does Delphine's death affect her post-film? More in letter!

The trouble with comics is that it is often impossible to assume that you, my author, have read the same ones I have! So I am going to talk about a few places where I feel Diana and Kate meet and if you've read my sources, maybe you will get an idea, but if you haven't, maybe you will have a different idea (or will want to read my sources).
- the almost-supernatural elements of Batwoman and the way that overlaps with Wonder Woman's relationship to dark magic (see: The Witching Hour), and how the two of them could be each other's only solid thing in the middle of a disturbing investigation/event;
- the guilt behind Kate's drive to serve (see: Elegy) and how Diana uses training sessions with other women as chances to listen and talk as well (see: Gail Simone's run, among others): I'm just saying, training porn with feelings;
- truth is such an important concept to the two of them - Kate's refusal to lie about being gay, Diana's entire existence - and I'd love to read something about how that truthfulness draws Diana to Kate;
- a big trope in WW/Batman fic used to be Diana on the arm of Bruce Wayne; I'd love to read about Diana appearing in public with Kate and how that happens/how they handle it.

Queen in the north, knight of the realm, two different kinds of strength and beauty. I just wanted more of Sansa and Brienne together when the series ended. I imagine someone will try to overthrow Sansa soon enough, or pressure her into marrying yet another deadbeat prince, and she'll need a strong right hand. Maybe Brienne decides that Bran doesn't have the best story after all and pledges her loyalty to independent Winterfell. Or maybe they get to do more than just survive--what would they do together, if they got a break from constant fighting, and got to just be regular humans for a day?

Diana | Wonder Woman/Kate Kane (DCU Comics), Fanfic
The trouble with comics is that it is often impossible to assume that you, my author, have read the same ones I have! So I am going to talk about a few places where I feel Diana and Kate meet and if you've read my sources, maybe you will get an idea, but if you haven't, maybe you will have a different idea (or will want to read my sources).
- the almost-supernatural elements of Batwoman and the way that overlaps with Wonder Woman's relationship to dark magic (see: The Witching Hour), and how the two of them could be each other's only solid thing in the middle of a disturbing investigation/event;
- the guilt behind Kate's drive to serve (see: Elegy) and how Diana uses training sessions with other women as chances to listen and talk as well (see: Gail Simone's run, among others): I'm just saying, training porn with feelings;
- truth is such an important concept to the two of them - Kate's refusal to lie about being gay, Diana's entire existence - and I'd love to read something about how that truthfulness draws Diana to Kate;
- a big trope in WW/Batman fic used to be Diana on the arm of Bruce Wayne; I'd love to read about Diana appearing in public with Kate and how that happens/how they handle it.
I'm also really curious to see what other people think about this ship, so if you have an idea that's not on here, go for it! See letter for some more generalities about what I do and don't want.
I do not want to read: rape; explicit abuse; animal abuse or death; self-harm; kid!fic. I am okay with violence in service to the story. I'm also not interested in complete AUs (ie, coffee-shop-type AUs). I do enjoy AUs where one thing in canon is changed and we explore the ramifications of it.

I love Clare, I love the strong, specific time and place setting of the show, and these intensely close friendships can shade over to something more with just the right push. Clare and Orla waiting out a bomb threat and trading weird ideas? Michelle passing around some molly at the graduation party? Erin trash-talking all potential girlfriends because nobody's good enough for her Clare? Great possibilities!
And I'm not normally big on AUs, BUT:listen: Derry Girls/The Craft fusion? EXCEPTION.

The things these women have been through. Dinosaur trauma. More dinosaur trauma. Dinosaur trauma *again.* And imagine the fallout. The lawsuits against Ingen would never end! I would like to see them confronting each other--Ellie and Claire come from radically different backgrounds and attitudes toward the dinosaurs--and maybe bonding, realizing that they can support each other through it. Or maybe they stay hating each other, even as they want to rip each other's clothes off.
I do not care about their canon relationships, and especially do not care about Owen Grady.

Sansa Stark/Brienne of Tarth (GoT), Fanfic, Fanvid
Queen in the north, knight of the realm, two different kinds of strength and beauty. I just wanted more of Sansa and Brienne together when the series ended. I imagine someone will try to overthrow Sansa soon enough, or pressure her into marrying yet another deadbeat prince, and she'll need a strong right hand. Maybe Brienne decides that Bran doesn't have the best story after all and pledges her loyalty to independent Winterfell. Or maybe they get to do more than just survive--what would they do together, if they got a break from constant fighting, and got to just be regular humans for a day?
Feel free to go AU from the events of the last season if you're inspired to. I've always loved the idea of the long winter actually happening...
