Weekly Check-in: One Week to Go

Stories are due one week from today.

I hope everyone's stories are going well. Don't forget there's a beta list if you're still looking for someone to help with edits.

Seems like things are going well. We have 15 stories and 4 treats, and 7 people have defaulted.

If you want to default, please do it now. If you want to dither, please default by the 5th. If you default after that or fail to hand in your story by the 9th, you may not participate next year. If you default at any time, and your author also defaults, I'm afraid I won't look for a pinch hitter. Though it's possibly you'll still get treats.

Please remember to only post fic treats that are over 1000 words at this time. I'll let you know when it's a go to post shorter things and art treats. Write/draw them when you like, just hold off posting.

I think that's it. I'll post a Default Day reminder on the 5th, and a couple deadline warnings after that.

Quick question! I have a treat I've been working on for someone, and the more I poke at it, the more I'm starting to worry about whether or not it has enough femslash to actually belong in the exchange! Eep. Without giving too many details or giving away the fandom, I essentially have a polyamorous femme threesome who are shown kissing, teasing and fooling around in the fic - while discussing some of their various hookups with men. There's an agreement between the three women that hooking up with dudes is totally cool, but it's made evident that the dynamic and relationship the three women share is what's most important to them. (Or, at least, I think it's evident.) The person I'm hoping to treat with this likes polyamory and doesn't say they have a problem with mentioning heterosexual hookups/relationships. Am I good to carry on and treat this person for the fest, do you think? :)

That's totally fine. As long as you're focusing on the women in relation to each other, poly with dudes is okay (so long as your recip mentioned being fine with it, at least, which is sounds like they are).
