I also would love to see what a calmer happy ever after looks like for everyone post-canon, or how delightfully complex relationships involving Grimms and 'biests would be, or anything that explores backstory, missing scenes, or otherwise fleshes out the dynamics between female characters in this show.

Tess and Lexy were my two favourite characters on Lip Service, and so I was overly attached to the doomed one-sided crush. And Sam can be so caring and dashing and devoted, be still my heart, and I loved her cute mundane everyday domesticity style of relationship with Cat (before Cat mucked it all up.) So I'd really love to see an AU/divergence/future that turns their triangle towards a healthier dynamic. Or I just think they could be really cute together in varying combinations, and I think they all deserve someone who likes them back. For OT3, I would prefer an equal relationship between all three or another approach that avoids the canon dynamic of Tess being a tag-along/not as wanted.

Oh gosh, Jessica Chastain. I loved that mix of cut-throat professional with all the cracks in her facade, and those brighter moments with Jane at the start and when she's more calm and happy at the very end, and I'm so curious about Jane's story and how events played out from her perspective. I also adore this movie for its whole messy characters trying real hard thing, and all the various sorts of female relationships/friendships/alliances and betrayals that canon events hinge on. Or I'd also love to see more of the rare moments where Sloane doesn't somehow become the source of gravity in the room. Missing scenes, post-canon, and canon divergences or AUs, I don't care - just tell more about what amazing things Esme and Jane get up to once they've escaped Sloane's orbit.

I also generally love little interludes and low key romance and relationship conflict instead of the canon True Love's Kiss thing, as well as Ivy-was-cursed/stay-their-cursed-selves and other mundane AUs.

My favourite things about this fandom are the steampunk feel, the amazing yet mundane everyday life moments. I also love a lot of the myth and the big stuff like Kali and Praxis in concept but tend to prefer the details and slice of life stuff in relation to it over the whole big mystery plotty bits. I am also just really down for Kate's biting sarcasm vs. her marshmallow centre and how Helen encourages her out of her shell, and Helen sashaying through history smugly befriending everyone of interest or importance and name dropping later.

Or I'd love to learn more about Camille and what her life is like when Freddie isn't around, or perhaps a canon divergence where she stayed for her own reasons - and those reasons are or turned into romance

This is a show that I didn't really expect to like as much as I did! Dinah is my main love in this fandom, I love and adore everything about her - her tenaciousness, her lack of personal space during interrogations, her refusal to blunt her sharp tongue, and how she can disapprove of Frank doing his thing but still see the worth in it. I also really love Dinah's total lack of chill whenever she's staring at Karen, their unashamed joy in their careers, and anything that plays up the staring and lack of personal space into flirting. I'm so curious about how these two strong personalities would mesh romantically, and I'd love to see that explored in any sort of setting. I also really like Frank and Karen as platonic crime fighting buddies and the Lieberman family, if you want to bring any of them into a fic.

If Carol and Maria had a relationship as above, and Maria was snapped away, then maybe Carol and Brunnhilde grew close during the Blip. Maria’s reappearance complicates things, but maybe they can figure out a way to make it work for them.

Brunnhilde | Valkyrie/Hela (Cinematic)
This would certainly add a whole new layer to Brunnhilde’s despair and guilt when Hela kills the other Valkyries. I see a relationship between them being tumultuous, and ultimately bittersweet at best, but I’m willing to be surprised if you’d rather write something gentler between them.

Carol Danvers/Maria Rambeau (Cinematic)
Pretty much any part of their timeline potentially has something interesting to explore. Two hotshot test pilots for whom love was a risk. After the events of Captain Marvel, how much does Carol remember? Can the two of them return to what they had? Do they forge something new? How do they deal with the fact that Carol is now more than human? And how does Monica react to all of this?

Carol Danvers/Minn-Erva (MCU)
The fact that they don’t seem to like each other very much doesn’t preclude them having hooked up while Carol was ‘Vers’. It could certainly add complexity to Carol’s feelings about her afterwards. It could be interesting if Minn-Erva actually survived the events of the film, and circumstances conspired to force them to work together.

Carol Danvers/Natasha Romanov (MCU)
When they’re not running themselves ragged dealing with one disaster or another, perhaps Carol and Natasha could snatch a few moment here and there to find comfort in each other. Also, Carol being a cosmic tier hero would make her eminently suited to an epic quest to retrieve Natasha from the Soul Stone.

Maria Hill/Natasha Romanov (MCU)
Barring Soul Stone shenanigans, this would most likely be pre-Blip. Both of them are very driven, although for different reasons. Where Natasha’s motivation seems to be atonement, in Maria’s case ambition seems most likely. It might be interesting to figure out how they would make time for each other amidst the chaos of their lives.

Natasha Romanov/Hope Van Dyne (Cinematic)
There’s certainly a lot of potential for conflict between them. From Natasha’s perspective, Hope is a rich girl playing at being a superhero, whereas to Hope, Natasha is the archetype of a ruthless SHIELD agent. However, they’re professional enough to try to set their differences aside if forced to work together against a common foe, and perhaps that will allow them to shed their preconceptions of each other.

Natasha Romanov - general notes
Soul Stone, time travel and/or alternate universe shenanigans could well play a role in some or all of the relationships involving her. Maybe she earns a second chance at life. Maybe she gets to undo some past regret, or make different choices. Maybe someone seeks her out. I think there’s a lot that could be done with it, if that catches your interest.

Nebula/Ava Starr (Cinematic)
Perhaps some quirk of Ava’s condition — or maybe an unexpected effect of some attempt to cure herself — catapults her across the universe where she encounters someone just as lost and damaged as she is.

Wanda Maximoff/Ava Starr (Cinematic)
Both of these women have spent much of their lives isolated, have lost family, and have caused harm that they now regret. Perhaps Ava sought Wanda out, hoping that the Scarlet Witch might have a way of curing her condition. If you want to go AU, maybe Wanda succeeds. Alternatively, perhaps they meet each other during the Blip, or post-Endgame, and form a connection in the wake of those events.

Both women have a similar kind of pragmatism, and have come through traumatic experiences that have left their mark. While trauma is a feature of all capes, Hannah’s particular trauma is of a kind that Emily can likely empathise with. The power dynamics of such a relationship would likely be complicated. Although Emily outranks Hannah, Hannah is a parahuman. I think seeing how they manage to find a balance despite that could potentially be interesting.

Melanie Fitts | Disaster Area/Original Ashley Stillons | Damsel of Distress
Both Disaster Area and Damsel of Distress are larger than life, with very well-developed egos and a fanatical dedication to getting the upper hand in any confrontation. A relationship between them would either end up with them conquering the world together or killing each other. Possibly both.

Rebecca Costa-Brown | Alexandria/Fortuna | Contessa
Both of these women have made extraordinary sacrifices in the name of the greater good. Their life’s work isn’t exactly conducive to having a life of their own, but maybe they can snatch some moments of comfort with the one of the very few people in the world who has a hope of understanding them.

Between all the stresses and strains of running a team, parenting a child and making a home together, maybe it takes an outside intervention to make Victoria and Ashley realise that their non-platonic subtext is actually just text.

Adora and Glimmer both struggle with finding a balance between asserting their own identity and living up to the expectations of others. Maybe that’s something they work out together.

There are a lot of strong feelings between these two. Maybe studying forbidden magics wasn’t Light Spinner’s only betrayal.

Scorpia seems like the kind of person who can be utterly oblivious to attempts to court her. Entrapta seems like the kind of person who’d embark on increasingly elaborate and technologically sophisticated ways to tell someone that she likes them. Hilarity ensues.

Mermista/Perfuma (She-Ra)
Perfuma is perpetually cheerful and bouncy. Mermista is laconic and deadpan. This makes for a classic ‘opposites attract’ scenario, or at least a good contrast.

Netossa/Spinnerella (SPOP 2018)
These two didn’t get a lot of screen time, but what kinds of epic and badass adventures could they have been having in the background? Alternatively, what kind of date night would they have between (or even during) those adventures?

Scorpia/Perfuma (SPOP)
These two have such great chemistry, and I’m interested in seeing how that might progress after the events of the last season. Alternatively, it could be neat to get a look inside either or both of their heads during those events.

I’d imagine that both of them would find it hard to set aside their particular grievances with the other, but it would be interesting to see them come to love each other despite everything.

Jaina Proudmoore/Thalyssra
As with Sylvanas, Thalyssra is a leader of her people and tries to do her best by them. I like the idea of Jaina and Thalyssra working together, especially if they’re working across enemy lines for what they see as they greater good. Or perhaps circumstances conspire to trap them together, forcing them to work together to survive and escape.

Stellagosa/Valtrois (Warcraft)
I love the dialogue these two together and would love to see how that dynamic develops if they spend time together.

I love the contrast between these two characters, both in personality and in how they approach the Shimmer. Anya is loud and full of bravado, practically daring it to come for her. Josie is quieter, more contemplative, willing to bend before she breaks. How could two such different people form a relationship? Does it happen before the expedition, or in the Shimmer? Or is it both at the same time, with the notion of causality flung carelessly aside?

Lena/Dr. Ventress
Both women are extremely driven and will fight for what they want. Death isn’t necessarily the end, int he Shimmer, so perhaps something of Dr Ventress survived. Lena herself is not what she once was. Perhaps there are versions of both of them still out there, still striving towards their goals.

Abby was my surprise favourite part of The Last of Us 2. I loved her, well, honestly I loved her arms. And for art some wholehearted appreciated of Abby's muscles would make me super happy. I loved the journey she went on from someone who did something unforgivable out of unprocessed grief and rage to becoming a better person through her connection with Lev and her desire to protect him.

Abby/Ellie - maybe something post-canon where they meet again, maybe by coincidence or Ellie seeking out the fireflies, and have to reevaluate each other. Or maybe a canon divergence AU where Abby meets Ellie instead of Joel and Tommy when she's first scoping out Jackson.

Abby/OFC - I'd love to see Abby have a fresh start and a new relationship after rejoining the Fireflies, and I'd love to see Lev's reaction to this new relationship. Or maybe a more bittersweet story where Abby had someone when she was with the WLF but it didn't work out because she couldn't let go of her vengeance.

Avasarala/Bobbie - I love how these two characters are both so very competent but in very different arenas. I would love to see something where Bobbie has to protect Chrisjen physically and then Chrisjen has to protect Bobbie politically. I love Chrisjen's voice whether it's her internal monologue or occasional scathing commentary. I would absolutely love a bodyguard AU for these two, whether it be in some version of canon or any setting change AU.

Bobbie/Drummer - I feel like Drummer has been pining over Naomi for a long time and that Bobbie could be the one to help her move on. In fact I think that both these characters have a lot of repressed feelings that they could work out with, and on, each other.

I'd love to see something about the interplay between host and symbiont, like how much of their initial attraction was down to the symbionts and how much was down to Jadzia and Lenara.

Seven/Raffi - And grown up me imprinted on this relationship. I was so, so happy that they made Seven canonically queer, and I would love to see something about her journey from the Seven we see at the end of Voyager to the one we pick up with in Picard (feel more than free to include any other f/f relationships or one sided attractions here), basically her coming out story would be awesome. I would love to see something about how Seven and Raffi actually got together, or something about a day in their life on La Sirena, or maybe something about the Voyager crew meeting Raffi.

Okay, so I am weirdly obsessed with Yara Greyjoy. There is something about a carefree lesbian pirate that just works for me, and the fact that underneath it all she so loyal to the people she loves just makes it, uh, *chef's kisses*.

Yara/Dany - I loved the flirty throne room scene and was bummed that they never had another scene together, so maybe an AU where they kept getting closer and Dany actually reacted to Yara's capture, or maybe one where Dany survived to rule, whether sane or not, and Yara was by her side. Or maybe one where Dany was raised in he Red Keep as a hostage and Yara is her endlessly flirtatious way out.

Yara/Ygritte - Yara and Ygritte both come from cultures where they kidnap "wives" so maybe they both try to steal each other.

Yara/Sansa - Maybe Yara and Sansa bond over Theon's loss, or maybe the Iron Islands secede from Westeros by joining the North.

Mon Mothma is always so put together. It'd be nice to see her ruffled.

I adored how Marisha and Erika built up their two characters and it's clear the two have known each other for a long time. I loved that chemistry. I did love al the hints about Ida's backstory and her potential and also the potential of her return scarred or twisted or just mad? We didn't get enough interactions I feel and I just want to see her get with the other two if you can make it happen!

I also loved the UST between Hana and Badger if you'd rather go that way.

Suzanne/Nelli: I am really into all the manipulative Ivory Tower/Anarch dynamics and the dirty bad wrong of them both having used their powers on each other to manipulate each other dynamic of this pairing. I also adore that it's Toreador/Toreador and they both do have things in common on that account, and adore beauty. But Nelli also went through so much that I love it when she can get a little under the older Kindred's skin - and especially now that she's in a new place of power as Baron of Hollywood. A little manipulation and dub-con with regret is very welcome for this pairing, but I'd also love to see scenarios in which maybe Nelli makes a point to Suzanne or manages to make her Coterie rise in her regard. Maybe this is even the far future where Nelli managed to stop Suzanne from following the call?

 

Annabelle/Kyoko: I love everything about both characters, their good hearts, their idealism, the things that make them normal young people who were thrust into this strange world and miss the normal things still, but also all the things that make them special - from fire magic to the hair color change to Annabelle's strength and brashness. I loved their girl's night out at Delilah's, I love them backing each other up. Anything along those lines leading to more would be ADORABLE. Also Victor building them us stars or influencers actually putting out albums and playing with their adoring fan's and the paparazzi by hinting at a relationship. (Maybe it's faked until it isn't?) Kyoko finding a way to get them to see the sun again and spend a normal day? Or future fic where hey are both older Vampires and have kept each other human, backing each other with brawn and magic

Annabelle/Kyoko: So, like, Eva has a lot of baggage and she's older than Annabelle and was also deeper into the traditional Kindred society than Annabelle will ever be, and we know there's something about her that Tremere and Camarilla fears, because it's "wrong" and "dangerous" and the way she was made was forbidden too. And let's face it: She's not that good with healthy relationships. And Annabelle is a young, handful of an idealistic mess. But post the incident with X now? Does Annabelle maybe become a little more like Eva? Or is she the one who teaches Eva about what t means when you're in a healthy, loving relationship? How would they rock this world as a Kindred power couple?

Annabelle/Ellenore: I have such a soft spot for their Spotify playlist communication and just would love more of that and meaning applied to it all beyond what we see right on the show. I'd also love to have insights into their life together before that enable them to find these nice ways of secret communication. I'm sad Marisha never returned to play Ellenore -- but what if? Now that Mark's a Ghoul - could Ellenore be one too? Could she be a force in the World of Darkness like Chloe to be with Annabelle? Would Annabelle seek her out after what happened with X and Carver? What if Ellenore's connection with Annabelle get Ellenore in trouble? In case she gets hurt - in connection with Kindred society or just because she's in an accident - would Annabelle turn her or would someone else do it to spare Annabelle - and what would be the repercussions of that?
