Clarification and in Search of Clarity  
After some concern from participants and discussion within Team Mod, we've decided to amend the RPF rule to exclude relatives of famous people who are not famous in their own right. The non-celebrity girlfriends and relatives of actors or politicians, for example, will not be permitted. If one wishes for a similar dynamic, perhaps consider nominating a generic character under Original Works.


Can whoever nominated Sarah Jane Adventures and/or Star Wars: Knights of the Republic comment here? I tried to transfer your pairings into their mother categories, and they... vanished. I can re-enter them manually, if you'd like, but having accidentally vanished them, I can't track down what they were.

Hi! (Sorry, I don't have a Dreamwidth account - hopefully this goes through?)

I was the one who nominated Malia Obama. I did it completely in good faith, but I also completely understand that it wasn't something you wanted. I'd be up for nominating a generic version in Original Works - President's Daughter/Girlfriend? - but I obviously already put my nominations in. Would it be possible to sub in that one for my Malia nom, since it was in good faith and by the rules at the time? Otherwise I might be able to talk a friend into using as one of hers, though she'd rather keep all her noms. :)

No worries. I saw your discussion with the anon over on fail meme, and it sounded like a really cute fic idea, and I didn't even think of it until someone mentioned it in e-mail.

I'm happy to manually add your original works category.
