Sell Your Fandom / Pairing!
Sign-ups are open, and that means this is a good opportunity to talk about your favorite fandoms and the pairings you ship for them. Feel free to comment about them here, or take to Tumblr and use the femslashex tag.

This is also a good opportunity to add your name to the pinch hit list. As before, if you join the group, you will receive e-mails when we are looking for pinch hits. You are under no obligation to make a claim, but, if you choose to do so, all you have to do is reply to the e-mail containing the desired pinch hit. You can also reply to it on the group page. This is a great way to help the community, and, speaking as a veteran pinch hitter, there are times when it can save the day for a challenge (and give you that warm 'n' fuzzy feeling of having stepped up to the plate when it was needed).

Samurai Flamenco-
The story of a male model who loves super heros so much, he decides to become one. It's mostly a send-up of sentai and tokusatsu (though it keeps a good balance between the comedy, action, and heart-felt moments), though I can say as a person who's never seen one of those in their entire life, it's extremely enjoyable without any knowledge of the genre.
Why is it relevant to this exchange? Because of these two
Mari Maya is an idol who decides that she wants to become a magical girl, so she drags her co-idols into it as well. One of them, Moe, is canonically in love with her, and the two kiss often! I absolutely adore their relationship! There is also a canon male/male pair by the end, if that interests anyone.
It's a really fun show, and I hope you'll enjoy it too!

Tokyo Mew Mew-
I know that magical girls shows are basically go-to for yuri undertones, but this one is a little older now, and I don't see it mentioned as much.
Zakuro/Mint is one of my all-time favorite girl/girl ships! Mint hero worships Zakuro to the point where it can easily be read as a crush. They're really adorable together.

Yuri Kuma Arashi-
The latest series by the creator of Utena! If you enjoyed Utena, I highly, highly recommend this one as well! The girl/girl elements are first and forefront, rather than just subtext!
It's about 'bears' who can transform into human girls, crossing the wall between the human and bear worlds, in order to find one of the bear's true love. Because this is an Ikuhara show, of course everything is loaded with symbolism.
The canon ship is the 'bear', Ginko, and the human protag, Kureha, but I really enjoyed the unrequited love Ginko's friend Lulu has for her. She's very loyal and selfless toward Ginko, which I really love in a ship!

I am horrible at giving summaries, but I hope that I made these sound half-way appealing!
