I was lukewarm on Bobbi in AoS and Chelsea Cain has made me want her own fucking TV show, I am just saying. I really want Cain-Bobbi to meet Nat! since Nat in her current book is kind of mopey (WTF) and in her Civil War crossover (ARRRRRRRGH) she'll be doing battle with Tony over her Greatest Secret or something. YEAH, this Nat book has had beautiful art, but it's been all about the Red Room. More specifically, it's about one guy sending her places because he knows her Awfullest Secret (what can it possibly be, BY NOW) and then another guy takes care of her later and there's the Red Room but there's also something called the Dark Room (yuk, yuk, yuk. Jesus, Marvel, _my cat_ could come up with something better than that) and just....sigh. The first issue was beautiful, with Nat breaking stuff out of SHIELD and Maria going hell bent for leather after her and it was like a Bond pre-credits movie right on the page. And I love Red Room Nat and sad doomed BuckyNat but....come on! Nat did other things!

Also, the Awfullest Secret better not be that goddamn sex tape of Nat and Tony from Ults.

But I did love the jumping out of the helicarrier. I think I'm a couple issues behind you on that one, but man, the art was fab for sure. Oh hey do we have a Nat/Maria ship nominated yet?

There was Name of the Rose, which I actually enjoyed and I wish Liu had gotten to write MORE, and then the 2014 book ("a new ongoing series as gorgeous and mysterious as Nastasha Romanov herself!" the Marvel page says, sigh) which....was OK? I really wanted to like it? But it felt the same as the recent book, like it started off well and then went ffffzzzzzz, which is weird because Nat is such a great character. There was no there there. The individual cases they started out with were good, but the overarching plot didn't get concluded and then surprise!Last Days WTF. (I thought I hated Civil War Interruptus 1 and 2 most of all but as I get more into the comics I am LOATHING how many books got cut off by Last Days and then had to restart.)

It was BEAUTIFUL, I mean, I honestly think you could take that in to some MCU executive office and go "Imagine a movie with this kind of opening." And then, Nat is pitted against Some Evil Enigmatic Dude we have never seen before and gets manipulated. OMG how many times can we see that plotline.

Ahhh fuckedy, I forgot MMFR, altho I think probably because to me it's Just Perfect and I don't really want to write much for it. Ex Machina, tho! I've been thinking of an Ex Machina "Ava returns" story.

REMEMBER WHEN ANA WAS MAKING HER SPECIAL SPY CLOTHES AND I AM JUST SO HERE FOR PEGGY/ANA. And omfg it just fizzled on the show, even before Ana got her Womb Wound. And why did all the female interaction on that show just tank in S2? Weren't there more women? I was SO hoping for a Peggy/Dottie teamup, or a Peggy/Dottie/Whitney teamup of necessity against the proto-HYDRA white dudes.
