2016 – Let's Discuss Nominations

Hello again, everyone!

Now that we're officially back in business for the year, it's time to talk about nominations. As noted in the previous post, those will be open in five days, at 5 PM (PDT) on Monday, August 15, so there's time to start batting things around before then.

Feel free to talk about what you're thinking of nominating in the comments, discuss eligibility, negotiate free spaces in your nominations with other users, etc.

You're also more than welcome to pull from our collection of user-made banners from prior years, but don't let that stop you from making and posting (via comment here) your own if you feel inspired.

- Ruby/Sapphire
- Eyeball/SOMEONE; maybe Jasper? Maybe another Ruby? Maybe "Original Sapphire Character" or "Original Pearl Character" if that's allowed to be a thing?

I think Zeldas get broken down by game, or at least I've been submitting mine under specifically Ocarina of Time's banner since mine are all specific to that game.

I'm...not sure if anyone else did any Zelda nominations/requests other than me the past two go-arounds though.

LBW is the only one I'm interested in requesting or offering right now, and the minimum number of relationships to request or offer in a fandom is 1, so it would work out the same for me either way.

I'd offer more ideas, but LBW is sadly one I have not got to playing yet.

(Though, from what little I know of it, Hilda/Midna could be interesting for situation parallels, and could be a benefit to umbrellaing the whole of Zelda.)

I am very excited about Eyeball/Jasper right now; I hope you nominate them. ;)

I'd love to see nominations for Lapis Lazuli/Peridot and/or Peridot/Amethyst, if you wind up with free space!

I think I'll go with Eyeball/Jasper and Eyeball/Original Female Character(s), so I can nominate one of those for you. If I nominate Amedot, I hope you can find someone else for Lapidot! There's got to be other people who want this fandom.
