2016 – Let's Discuss Nominations  
Hello again, everyone!

Now that we're officially back in business for the year, it's time to talk about nominations. As noted in the previous post, those will be open in five days, at 5 PM (PDT) on Monday, August 15, so there's time to start batting things around before then.

Feel free to talk about what you're thinking of nominating in the comments, discuss eligibility, negotiate free spaces in your nominations with other users, etc.

You're also more than welcome to pull from our collection of user-made banners from prior years, but don't let that stop you from making and posting (via comment here) your own if you feel inspired.

Oops, posted under my dead account. Not that it matters much, but for consistency:

Yay for Yoshiko/Hanamaru. I will probably nominate all the various combinations of Guilty Kiss (Yoshiko, Mari and Riko) if no one else does.

I want to nominate Nico/Nozomi, but I don't think I have the spare slots.

I know, right? Yoshiko/Hanamaru is a surprise favorite of mine. It has so much potential. I thought I'd like MaruRuby more after seeing that they were best friends. But Yoshiko and Hanamaru have so many great moments! They haven't really been shown as really good childhood friends, but they obviously know a lot about each other still.

Oh, Guilty Kiss! Good choice, I love them all together, so I wouldn't mind if you did add those combinations. I was about to say I could switch Eli/Nozomi for Nico/Nozomi but someone else beat me to it, haha.
