Nomination Updates

Please remember to check if your pairing has already been nominated before you yourself nominate it. It might have a slightly different name to make it fit in with the tags. We've been getting a lot of doubles lately.

Could whoever nominated "Hellblazer and Related fandoms" specific which related fandom? That tag encompasses at least three completely different versions. Also, would it not go in with DCU (Comics)?

Can someone tell me which pairings should go under Love Live! Sunshine! and which under School Idol Project? They keep getting their wires crossed.

Pokemon will hence forth be divided into Main Games, GO, Anime (and various Manga if someone nominates them). (Mod apologises for her confusion.)

Do people just want to have one massive all-encompassing Sailor Moon category? I had assumed different versions separate, but people keep nominating it under the master tag.

As someone who's considering offering/requesting Sailor Moon, I'd personally prefer separate versions, but I can't speak to the intentions of those who've nominated so far. (I mean, if it's easier for you, and none of them speak up to the contrary, having one category seems like a reasonable solution!)

It's not easier one way or another, just trying to do both simultaneously doesn't work.

I'd rather split them, personally, as it makes more sense and that was what the fandom wanted last year.

We'll keep them separate then. It makes more sense too my as the various versions really are different (Cousins!)

(On a completely different subject ...) Several of the pairings listed under The Black Tapes Podcast are crossovers (with other podcasts).

Of course, sorry! I only recognized one initially (Alex Reagan/Lia Haddock - a crossover with Limetown), but a little googling tells me that Meerkatnip | MK/Alex Reagan is also a crossover (with Tanis).

Just a quick heads up, in case you're cleaning up tags already: I spotted a duplicate under Killjoys (TV). Clara/Lucy and Lucy/Clara are both listed there.

You should check with the nominator before acting on this, but I think that the "Disney Princesses" fandom might more properly belong in "crossovers - Fandom".

Current tagset: Belle/Elsa (Disney Princesses), Megara/Rapunzel (Disney Princesses), Anna/Fa Mulan (Disney), Anna/Megara (Disney), Elsa/Tiana. (Disney)

Suggested tagset: Belle (Beauty and the Beast - 1991)/Elsa (Frozen - 2013), Megara (Hercules - 1997)/Rapunzel (Tangled - 2010), Anna (Frozen - 2013)/Fa Mulan (Mulan - 1998), Anna (Frozen - 2013)/Megara (Hercules - 1997), Elsa (Frozen - 2013)/Tiana (The Princess and the Frog - 2009).

No, they're together like that every year. The canon justification is Disney's Princess line of merchandising or whatever, but practically there's so many stories with just the one girl...

There's a duplicate tag under Pokémon (I'm sorry on this fandom's behalf): "Magic Queen Bellelba | Magic Queen Jujube/Mei | Rosa" and "Magic Queen Jujube | Magic Queen Bellelba/Mei | Rosa" are the same relationship. The second one is formatted correctly.

(Someone nominated this?! Holy crap.)

Oh that ones easy, Ido doubles before breakfast. You guys really aren't any worse than the Tolkien or comics crowds.

(There seems to be a bit of crossover with the darkfic crowd this year.)

In the "Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen" tag in books is also listed Elizabeth Bennet/Anne Elliot (Persuasion - Jane Austen) - all the other pairings check out in P&P canon but Anne/Elizabeth is technically a crossover.
