Nominations open in two days
This is the 2013 post! Do not comment here anymore!

Comment here or at livejournal with what you plan to nominate. Clarify categories with the mod. Advertise empty slots. Maximise your nominations.

For the record, comics will be nominated by universe (for example Marvel 616, Marvel Adventures, Marvel Cinematic Universe). All of Doctor Who TV will be together and Big Finish will be on its own. Not being overburdened by female characters, Tolkien's Middle-Earth works will be together.

I'm not super familiar with Non-western fandoms and RPF fandoms, so guidance on how to group them would be welcome.

ETA: Rules post here, but to sum up: You may nominate up to five fandoms, and you may nominate up to five pairings in each fandom.

At the end of nominations, fandoms that do not have at least two pairings in them will be eliminated, as offers and requests on sign ups must have at least two pairings, and fandoms with one or no pairings would be a waste of everyone's time. Please consider whether or not you can request/offer more than one pairing before nominating a fandom.

ETA 2: After due consideration, we're allowing each participant to request ONE fandom with a single pairing. Therefore, fandoms with single pairings won't be deleted at the end of nominations. Fandoms with no pairings still will.

Tentatively:

Les Miserables - Victor Hugo: Dahlia/Zephine, Dahlia/Favourite, Baptistine/Magloire, Zephine/Fantine, Fantine/Simplice (I could swap Eponine/Cosette for Fantine/Simplice if anyone is likely to request them for the book--I notice they were already nominated in All Media Types and guessing that nominator was thinking more musicalverse where Eponine/Cosette is really the only possible pairing without time travel incest and probably wouldn't want to be stuck having to offer minor book character pairings...)

Tortall - Tamora Pierce: Buri/Onua, Yuki/Haname, Delia/Alanna, Delia/Josiane, also thinking about Beka Cooper/Okha Soyan (I think Okha is pretty clearly a trans woman despite the consistent use of male pronouns by other characters--I can dig up author interviews to that effect, although I do not endorse Pierce's rationale for it)

Romeo and Juliet - Shakespeare: Juliet/Rosaline, Lady Capulet/Lady Montague

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame: Wu Zetian/Shangguan Jing'er

Phantom of the Opera - Gaston Leroux: Christine/Meg, Carlotta/La Sorelli, (happy to add others if people can think of them)
