Nominations Closed, and Final Clarifications

Nominations are now closed! We'll be cleaning up the tagset over the next few days, and signups will open on August 11. Please comment with any duplicate tags, incorrect fandom associations, etc that you see! (If you commented on the last post, we've seen all the comments and will reply once the issues mentioned are fixed).

There are a few final clarifications.

Tolkien:

Bill Potts (Doctor Who)/Éowyn (LOTR) - did the nominator have the book or the movie canon in mind? If we don't hear from the nominator, we will approve as is allowing for either book or movie Eowyn requests/offers

Harry Potter:

There are several noms for Hogwarts Mystery characters under the book series fandom tag. We'll be approving them into this fandom tag unless any other participants have a strong preference for keeping them separate

Sharp Objects:

We have both the novel and the TV series in the tagset. Are these distinct enough to be left as separate fandoms, or should they be combined?

I don't have an opinion on Hogwarts Mystery, but I wanted to mention that whoever nominated them that way might have done so because Ao3's tag wranglers have made the weird-ass decision to syn Hogwarts Mystery to the book series.

The pairing Wednesday Addams/Amanda Buckman is listed under Addams Family (TV 1964), but I believe it would be more accurate to list it under The Addams Family (Movies), because Amanda only exists in the latter.

I nominated the Sharp Objects TV show, and I think it would be fine to combine them, but the show isn't complete yet, so they might end up being distinct enough to be considered separate. Alternately, since I was the one who nominated the show, I would be okay with the pairing I nominated from the show being put under the book and left at that, if that works?

Under Once Upon a Time, "Alice/Emma Swan" is ambiguous. Is that meant to be Alice aka Tilly, or the Alice from Once Upon a Time in Wonderland?

Thanks for the heads up! I've removed the ambiguous tag and replaced it with Alice | Tilly/Emma Swan and Alice (OUAT Wonderland)/Emma Swan so people can choose which Alice they wanted.

Since signups open soon, checking if it's normal that I still have an unapproved nom on my dash. It's Elektra Natchios/Colleen Wing? (I was trying to nominate it under Marvel Netflix so that's still my personal preference, but I think someone beat me to it under MCU. Either way I'm still seeing the little question mark.)

I'm just doing a final sweep of remaining issues now, you might notice your nomination has just been declined. Because MCU is an approved fandom, I've added the relationship manually to avoid it being accidentally associated to MCU as well so it is now in the tagset under Marvel Netflix for you despite being declined on your nominations list.
