I'm not sure if this is something to take note of now or during a cleanup before sign-ups, but I just wanted to point out two duplicate pairings in the TV section. Figured that since I spotted 'em, I'd mention them to avoid confusion in sign-ups!

Under Orange Is The New Black, there's "Poussey Washington/Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson" and "Poussey Washington/Taystee Jefferson". They're the same pairing, and the first one is likely more correct, since Taystee isn't the character's real first name. I was the one who nominated the second, so feel free to remove it and just let the first one remain!

Under Teen Wolf (TV), there's "Allison Argent/OFC" and "Allison Argent/Original Female Character(s)" - surely that's the same, and one should probably be removed? :)

A few issues:

Missy Pantone is not a character in Bend it Like Beckham. She is a character in Bring it On.
In Orphan Black: Cosima Niehaus/Delphine Cormier and Delphine Cormier/Cosima Niehaus is the same pairing. As is Helena/Sarah Manning and Sarah Manning/Helena.

Also, my nom of Mim/Dex for Stumptown is not associated. Since they have zero fic, I think you need to make that association. It's an option in your approval board. :)

I couldn't seem to find any kind of listing for a female Doctor in Doctor Who, though I could swear I've seen fic for female versions of the Doctor before (not genderswapped Nine or whatever, but, like, Twelve is a woman, Thirteen is a woman). So I just put it down as Female Doctor. Please wrangle into better terminology if such a thing exists.

I poked around a bit, and ended up going with River Song/Original Female Doctor, as that makes it most clear that it can't just be one of our Doctor's in female version.

Do you know why my Kitty Pryde/Rogue tag is showing up among my nominations but not among the available pairings under 'X-Men movies'? Do I need to change to a movie-specific character tag?

Oh dear. That may have gotten accidentally associated with 616 when I was cleaning up the Marvel tags. Do you want it in 616 as well? Or should I just move it over to movies.

There appears to be a duplicate in Video Games > Mass Effect: Female Shepard/Morinth and Morinth/Female Shepard (Mass Effect).

I noticed Eponine/Cosette is nominated as the sole pairing in Les Miserables - All Media Types, and while I can argue them as really the only possible f/f pairing for the movie or musical, that's not the case for the book. I was planning to nominate a bunch of minor character pairings for the book--is it better to do so under the All Media Types or Victor Hugo tag?

I'll toss Eponine/Cosette into some variation of the musical, and you can tag for book, and it should all work out nicely.

Tifa Lockhart/Yuna is appearing under Compilation of Final Fantasy VII when Yuna is a character in Final Fantasy X. I am the one that nominated it, but it was nominated for Dissidia. It looks like it is a case of someone wrangling it to Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. You'll have to delete the tag and then add "Tifa Lockhart/Yuna (Dissidia)" and manually associate it to Dissidia to get it out of Final Fantasy VII.

edit: I didn't notice until now that someone had also nominated Final Fantasy X and Lighting/Yuna is appearing under that. You'll have to do the same thing to get it out of there.

The problem above, I deleted everything expecting to have to re-enter and re-associate, because every time I tried to associate them, they said they already had an association, but they did not according to my list. But then they still show up under their fandoms. I don't know what's going on.

Like These were unassociated pairings. But now they are simultaneously showing up matched as they should be, and not showing up AT ALL under the edit system. Not as pairings, and not as associations.

Just a note that "Ariel/Megara" is currently showing up under "Greek and Roman Mythology" as well as "Disney Princesses". (Megara does appear in the Hercules myth, so I assume that's why she's doing double fandom duty, but the pairing is only Disney.)

Looking at the 'X-Men movies' category, I'm not sure how the canonical tag nesting works, but in my experience X-Men First Class is usually treated as a distinct fandom from the other movies. It might not matter for matching since we can request/offer specific pairings but I thought I'd mention it!

I decided to include them under movie fandom generally. There's not enough to throw out anyone's request or offers, and it appeals to my sense of order.

There are some funny things going on in the Tolkien tag set:

Indis/Nerdenel - should be Nerdanel, and is already nominated as Nerdanel/Indis.
Indis/Míriel Þerindë | Míriel Serindë - Þerindë vs. Serindë is a contested issue in the fandom, but the tag on A03 is Míriel Serindë, and Indis/Míriel Serindë as the 'official' one is already nominated.
