Everything under Fate/Zero is also under Fate/stay night - All Media Types. Fate/Zero is a prequel to Fate/stay night. My guess is that Irisviel von Einzbern/Arturia Pendragon | Saber was intended under Fate/Zero and Arturia Pendragon/Tohsaka Rin | Saber/Tohsaka Rin, Matou Sakura/Arturia Pendragon | Saber, and Matou Sakura/Tohsaka Rin were intended under Fate/stay night.

Under Monster High, Blondie Lockes is an Ever After High character. C. A, Cupid is a character in both and explicitly is mentioned transferring schools.

Other Issues

You have Neon Genesis Evangelion and Rebuild of Evangelion | Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition. Rebuild is an alternate universe movie series that diverges from the timeline of the original anime. It isn't uncommon for people to historically nominate characters and ships for either under regular Neon Genesis Evangelion. But since you have them separate, Makinami Mari Illustrious/Shikinami Asuka Langley makes more sense under Rebuild. Mari only exists in Rebuild and Asuka's last name is Shikinami only in the Rebuild movies.

For Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night, if one is a prequel to the other is that something we should be combining as opposed to fixing wandering tags? Ditto with Ever After and Monster High, if there's canonic character crossover. It sounds like they meet our shared universe rule, but I don't want to make assumptions when I'm not familiar with either. I'll also add both to the next clarification post to make sure any other people familiar with the fandoms can weigh in if necessary.

Fate/ is a very complicated question. It involves alternate timelines very heavily. I personally prefer combined and it used to be common in exchanges to combine the canons, but since Fate/Grand Order came out it's been becoming more common to split them up. I like merged because I did nominate for Fate/stay night and my ships contain the original concept of a female lead before she was replaced by a male character (she was later used in Fate/Prototype). I think it is a fandom that would make sense to open it to discussion.

Ever After High and Monster High take place in different worlds and there are only three mentions of them taking place in the same multiverse. Giles Grimm has a cameo in a Monster High movie. C. A. Cupid is explicitly mentioned as transferring between schools. A character in a later Monster High movie speaks to Apple and Raven on the phone for a very short scene. So while you could make an argument for combining them, most of the connections can be easily ignored and the fandom largely treats them as two separate things. If you want to be technical, that's fewer references than Marvel and DC have about taking place in the same multiverse.

I nominated Fate/Zero before other stuff showed up in the tagset and tbh, am only interested in a Fate/Zero pairing for this. But I don't think there's any misinterpretation possible by having Irisviel/Saber under the umbrella tag, so I'll defer to whatever the mod wants.

Another Fate/ nominator here. I suppose I have no problems with merging! Mostly alternate universe iterations of the same character tend to also have different names, for example Rin and Ishtar are the same character but in different iterations. I don't see any exceptions to this in the current tagset, so it should be safe to combine imo.

(Also I want to point out that the ship I nominated, Irisviel von Einzbern/Hisau Maiya/Arturia Pendragon | Saber, is not currently under the general Fate/ tag, so if you do merge them, please don't lose it! ;A;)

Thanks for popping by, it sounds like merging suits people but I'll leave it an open issue until closer to the end of nominations so anyone who disagrees has plenty of time to join the discussion. And I'll make sure to be careful with your relationship tag. With issues like this I make a record of everything under both fandoms before making any changes so we don't have anything go astray in the process, but comments to refer back to and double check against never hurt so thanks for heads up.

Just a quick heads up that somebody has commented that Rebuilt could be folded under Neon Genesis Evangelion if you had any opinions on the subject beyond what you've already said here.

Thanks for the heads up. Not a fandom I feel strongly about in regards to merge vs splitting, just one I wanted to point out the wandering tags if they were kept split.
